Thomas F. Bunbury

CEO, Bunbury & Associates Realtors®

Tom majored in Urban Land Economics at UW-Madison, earning a BA in 1971. He began his real estate career in 1976 and formed Bunbury Realty in 1985. From 1989-2007 he was president of a large Madison real estate company. Tom stands out as an industry leader, currently serving on the MLS Board of Directors, and a member of numerous Chambers, being very active in the community.  Family is very important to Tom.  He and his wife have raised 5 daughters, 4 of whom are currently in real estate with him.  Tom along with his family are members of the UW Family Business Center.  Tom enjoys raising horses, farming, skiing, ATV's and snowmobiling.

Erik E. Sjowall

President, Bunbury & Associates Realtors®

Erik earned a BA in marketing at the University of St. Thomas in 1994. He brings 16 years of real estate knowledge and managerial experience to Bunbury & Associates Realtors®. Erik and his family moved from the Twin Cities area to Madison in 2006. He spent his first 11 years in real estate with Edina Realty. Erik served as the 2010 President of the Realtors® Association of South Central Wisconsin (RASCW) and is currently the Vice-President of the South Central Wisconsin Multiple Listing Service (SCWMLS). At the state level he currently sits on the WRA Legal Action committee. He enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, traveling and coaching youth hockey for his two sons, Dane & Drew.

Jan Somerfeld, SCRP

Executive Director, Business Development, Bunbury & Associates Realtors®

Jan has nearly 22 years of relocation management experience within the real estate brokerage setting and will be responsible for developing new business programs. She has received numerous awards for outstanding service and contributions to the relocation industry, having earned the prestigious Senior Certified Relocation Professional (SCRP) designation from the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council (ERC) in 2006. In addition to being a member of the Worldwide ERC and Wisconsin ERC, Jan serves on the Board of the North Eastside Senior Coalition and is a member of the Noise Abatement Sub-committee for the Dane County Regional Airport. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Consumer Science and Family Resources.
